Acacia wood is sustainable. Acacia trees are fast-growing and grow in almost any kind of soil. Cutting boards made of close grained hardwoods such as Acacia are the best boards to use. Bacteria found on these wooden boards do not multiply, and gradually die making them super safe for kitchen use.
